The preserved rose's make wonderful products to create displays from be it large or small as each flower has kept its own individually, just as it was when it was alive. This means that there are no two same roses in shape, size or weight out there as when the rose hits its peak of natural beauty it is cut and placed in a mixture of glycerine and dye. This is taken up to to the head and the petals through osmosis, which then replaces the plants natural sap. We are then left with a flower head that has kept soft petals, just as it was before it was cut.
The luxury of these products is that they require very little maintenance, no water, a very light dusting to keep it looking fresh, they must not be placed in high humidity or extreme cold (room temperature is ample) and to prevent premature fading direct sunlight should also be avoided. If these general guide lines are followed there is no reason why your preserved display should't last for many months if not years.
